Generousity

I went on a walk with Nigo today. Even though it's very cold, it's nice to be outdoors. As we passed by, a shop owner recognized me and gave me some mikans. It was a small thing, but I was really humbled by it. Sometimes I lose sight of what matters when I focus on school. I want to relax and be more generous next year.

Star Wars on Christmas

My family went to see the new Star Wars film on Christmas Day. I won't mention any spoilers, but I thought it was entertaining. It will be interesting to see where they take the story from here. My grandmother and I particularly liked the protagonist, Rey. We've been theorizing about her backstory.

BB-8 reminded me a bit of Nigo. It's been very nice to be able to take him on walks and play with him... My grandmother dressed him up as an elf for Christmas~~and she made me wear a Santa hat~~.

What should I put on my reading list?

My professor returned one of my papers today. I passed, but she said that my story lacked imagination. Her criticism isn’t off base; I prefer to write realistic fiction. However, we were assigned to write sci-fi or fantasy and I was out my element. The only way I’ll get to know the genre better is by reading more. What sci-fi/fantasy books should I read?

Tall Elf

I went to the mall today to do some Christmas shopping. It was very busy and a couple of people bumped into me. There were many families who brought their children to see Santa. Santa's helpers were dressed as elves. I thought elves were supposed to be small, but one was very tall. Murasakibara-kun was that you?

Cough Drops

I've been sick since Friday. So I wasn't able to play in the practice matches or go to support my teammates. I wish them the best and I will do better in the future.

Since I've been resting in my room, I finally found the setup information for my journal that I lost after school orientation. My cough isn't getting better, but I can't skip classes tomorrow. Does anyone have cough drops?
